Speech-Language Therapist -Early Intervention

• Early Intervention Speech-Language Therapists
• play a vital role in helping infants and toddlers develop essential communication skills, ensuring they reach their full potential.
• Key Responsibilities
• Assessment & Diagnosis
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders in infants and toddlers.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on developmental milestones and family needs.
• Therapeutic Intervention
• Provide
• play-based, structured therapy
• to enhance communication, articulation, and language development.
• Teach children how to make sounds, improve their voices, and strengthen oral / written language skills.
• Utilize
• augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
• strategies when needed.
• Family & Caregiver Support
• Coach parents and caregivers on techniques to reinforce speech and language development at home.
• Provide counseling and education on coping strategies for speech-related challenges.
• Collaboration & Advocacy
• Work closely with
• educators, occupational therapists, psychologists, and social workers
• to create holistic intervention strategies.
• Advocate for early intervention services and educate families on the importance of early speech therapy.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and treatment adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with
• state and federal early intervention regulations
• Qualifications & Skills
• Education :
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
• Licensing :
• Valid SLP license & Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Experience :
• 1-3 years in
• early intervention or pediatric speech therapy
• preferred
• Skills :
• Strong knowledge of
• child development, speech disorders, and family-centered care
• Soft Skills :
• Compassionate, patient, and excellent communication skills

Pay : $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
