Automation Engineering Manager (Hudson)

Our client, a small scale sterile manufacturing facility, is looking for an Automation Manager to join their team. The Automation Manager is responsible for the design, development, procurement, and integration of new equipment and electrical controls technologies as well as maintaining and upgrading existing technologies. These technologies will focus on improving the Companys manufacturing performance in the areas of quality, service, cost, operations efficiency, and minimizing unplanned equipment and facilities related downtime.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in the latest related automation and control technologies
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical equipment, facilities, components, and systems in an FDA regulated manufacturing facility
• Maintain and support daily operations from an electrical and controls standpoint
• Conduct analysis of existing manufacturing performance and identify areas of improvement / opportunities
• Design and develop new technology strategies to address the manufacturing opportunities
• Business case development and justification of new technology proposals and presentation of these plans to management groups
• Concept to completion project management of identification, development, procurement, commissioning, and start-up of new technologies
