Merger And Acquisition Tax Manager

These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. Those in mergers and acquisition tax at PwC will focus on providing tax advice and guidance during mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. Your work will involve analysing the tax implications of such transactions, developing tax structures, and assisting clients in navigating complex tax regulations to optimise tax outcomes. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member's unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. The Opportunity

As part of the Merger and Acquisition Tax team you are going to provide benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Manager you are going to supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive assigned client engagement workstreams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables. Additionally, you are going to be responsible for leveraging team strengths, managing performance to deliver on client expectations, and embracing technology and innovation to enhance your delivery.

  • What You Must Have

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

    4 years of experience

    A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

    CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

    What Sets You Apart

    Juris Doctorate preferred

    Broad knowledge in partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions

    Proficiency in partnership taxation and qualitative and quantitative analysis

    Proficiency in U.S. federal income tax law related to partnerships

    Advanced technical writing and reviewing skills

    Ability to develop and sustain meaningful client relationships

    Experience in defining resource requirements and project workflow

    Proven leadership in establishing direction and motivating team members

    Familiarity with CRM systems

    The salary range for this position is : $99,000 - $266,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
