Warehouse Associate
Ensures accurate and timely receipt of parts; accurately places incoming parts in proper warehouse location and pulls parts needed for assembly.
Role and Responsibilities
- Receives goods, verifies the quality, and counts of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers. Checks against suppliers count and immediately report discrepancies to carriers, supervisors, and purchasing officer per company policy.
- Takes a leading role in parts stocking by part numbers.
- Safely load / unload material using a forklift / hand truck.
- Keep track of incoming inventory.
- Receive and organize parts inventory.
- Assist with picking and delivering materials to the correct Assembly station.
- May assist or back up other areas of the Warehouse as needed.
- Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a lead person or supervisor.
Qualifications
At least eighteen (18) years of age,At least three (3) years of experience in a warehouse and operating a forklift,Must be highly organized, self-motivated and have a clean driving record.Skills Required
Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.Basic understanding of warehouse procedures.Attention to detail.Team player with a strong work ethic.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
