Job Title LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Summary The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Key Responsibilities Providing care to patients in the LTAC/Telemetry unit. Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. Demonstrating critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership. Planning for safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegating patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available. Providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Required Qualifications RN license in OK or multi-state compact. ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association). Vent/trach experience. Ability to start within 2 weeks of offer. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of central lines. Wound care experience.
