About the Role :

Summit Consultants is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Fort Worth. In this role, you will take on key responsibilities for the design and management of large-scale projects, including performing quality control (QC) tasks and mentoring of other staff.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and technical development of electrical systems for a wide range of project types, including high-rises, industrial facilities, manufacturing, industrial plants, commercial spaces, and more.
• Perform comprehensive quality control for design work produced by others, ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers, guiding system design, Revit modeling, and other engineering best practices.
• Actively contribute to the development and optimization of internal tools, methods, and standards, particularly within Revit, to streamline design processes and enhance team efficiency.
• Participate in internal design reviews, technical discussions, and lunch & learn sessions aimed at fostering continuous learning and team collaboration.
• Provide leadership and oversight in construction administration, including field inspections, responding to RFIs, handling change orders, and issuing bulletins and addenda.
• Support the development of specifications, system narratives, electrical calculations, fault current analysis, and other engineering documentation.
