Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Location : Baltimore, MD Metro Area

Start Date : As soon as Credentialed

End Date : Ongoing

Schedule : 3 x 12 hour shifts per week; both day and night shifts required (7a-7p and 7p-7a); weekdays and weekends mix; No Call

Requirements :

• Active, unrestricted MD License
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
• Clean background / malpractice / NPDB
• MUST be a local provider within approximately 1-1.5 hours
• Must be able to cover birthing unit including high risk deliveries from 32 weeks on, as well as 10 bed pediatric unit and 4 bed pediatric ED
• Must have BLS, PALS and NRP certifications

Required Skills : Attend deliveries, neonatal resuscitation & intubation, possibility for arterial puncture, lumbar puncture, umbilical vein catheterization, and pediatric resuscitation
