JOB SUMMARY :

The Clearing Services Associate within Client Operations supports activities cleared on behalf of clients in Prime Brokerage, Listed Derivatives, and OTC Derivatives. This role provides a direct interface with some of the world’s largest derivatives exchanges and equity markets. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on delivering quality service while ensuring efficiency, risk reduction, and process improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform daily trade support functions for OTC Interest Rate Swaps and Credit Default Swaps across North American and European CCPs.
• Resolve client and CCP breaks, manage trade flow and top-day trade exceptions.
• Investigate and resolve clearing exceptions, escalating trade breaches as needed.
• Develop trade flow solutions and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure strong risk management and control across processes and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for client issues and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing ideas and questioning the status quo.
• Support teammates with tasks, foster collaboration, and share knowledge.
• Refine operational controls and continuously improve processes to reduce risk.
• Build and manage relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of assigned products and functional areas.
• Establish clear personal goals and manage priorities effectively.
