Job description3 - 5 years of technical development experience at a senior engineer level. Bachelors Degree Excellent knowledge of REST concepts and developing REST APIs using Spring boot with Tomcat Object-oriented analysis and design experience Strong understanding of Java 8 capabilities lambda streams and functional interfaces Excellent SQL and database concepts to work with large databases Good understanding of Cloud engineering concepts Good aptitude to quickly grasp newer concepts learn on the fly and apply them in day to day work. Smart analytical skills to derive relevant inferences from data sets and then apply those inferences to resolve business challenges. Understand business problems seek right solutions to tackle the problem and break it down into easy to follow action items for the team. You excel in a collaborative environment tackling new challenges Your communication with peers and leaders is clear and effective You help provide technical leadership and direction to an upbeat and dynamic team You are willing and excited to lend your voice and opinion to the discussion You love to take initiative to tackle a problem and get the job done Providing the team with technical guidance and mentoring junior team members. Coordinating and leading research into new technologies independently as part of a team and with the Architecture team to make judgment and recommendations for future releases. Contributing to a teamwork environment by actively participating in peer code reviews design reviews and being available to help others when needed. Providing and taking leadership taking business requirements and translate them into detailed designs consider the best strategy to ensure design meets performance security usability and reliability and scalability requirements
Dynamic Work schedule - This is 5 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Fidelity determines the week they are working onsite not the candidate.

The Team
The Health Care Technology Group (HCG) supports the recordkeeping and administration of Health Benefits (Medical Dental and Vision plans) as well as the Health Savings and Reimbursement Account plans on behalf of Fidelitys corporate clients their employees and retirees. The Technology associates on the HCG Platform team interact with Business partners as well as Systems partners who have responsibility for client-facing channels such as NetBenefits . The development teams are located across USA and India. Team size is 150 resources across IT and Product organized into highly motivated team who develop and deliver using Agile Methodology.
The Health Care Technology Group (HCG) Team is looking to fill an exciting and results-oriented position on its development team. As a Full Stack Engineer you will be a senior member encouraged to supply to the technical leadership and center of competence within the HCG team. This includes :
- Supplying to the HCG team of developers and Tech leads with specific emphasis on sound fundamental development methodology.
- Providing leadership on project development policies procedures standards and strategies.
- Participating in the HCG teams effort to improve the efficiency and quality of the entire development process.
