Withum’s Auditing and Attest Engagement services are the cornerstone of our firm. Our audit and advisory team provides audit services, review, compilation services, and other agreed‑upon audit procedures to a variety of client sizes and industries.

This Tech Audit Senior role will be based out of our San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orange County or San Diego office. You will work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well‑known CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you will take a lead role on all aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion, and will oversee supervision / mentoring of staff while building and maintaining client relationships.

How You’ll Spend Your Time

• Lead the engagement team staff in planning and executing audit, review or compilation engagements to provide world‑class client service.
• Oversee day‑to‑day engagement operations : staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and conclusion.
• Provide supervision and support to engagement staff and promote open communication with the engagement manager and partner.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on client issue resolutions and make recommendations for legal, regulatory and accounting issues arising during an audit engagement.
• Review scheduled and non‑scheduled general ledger accounts for accurate entries.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines efficiently.
• Create and track engagement budgets to identify and address inefficiencies.
• Conduct constructive discussions with team members on evaluations and provide counsel accordingly.
• Serve in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
