The IT Support Specialist will provide technical assistance to users, monitor and resolve support tickets, and ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, and networks.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication to support end-users effectively.
Responsibilities :
Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, chat, or in person.
Actively monitor and work on tickets submitted in the JIRA ticketing system.
Install, set up, and configure new hardware, software, and peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
Document technical problems, resolutions, and user guides for future reference.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills :
Knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networks.
Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills for problem-solving.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service mindset with patience and empathy.
Ability to manage tasks, prioritize requests, and maintain detailed records.
Adaptability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification And Education :
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Systems, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
Experience :
Minimum of two years of experience in Information Technology and Customer Service.
