Form Carpenter
This position is for work to be performed in the 4-state area (MO / KS / OK / AR) and beyond, according to the needs of Branco.
A Form Carpenter utilizes blueprints to determine proper dimensions, shapes, and designs of form structures. The form carpenter uses precise measurements to cut and assemble 2x material, plywood or steel / aluminum modular panels to the necessary size required to form footings, walls, or slab edges. Symons forms and gang forming experience a plus.
Primary Responsibilities
- Construct, erect, install concrete forms
- Measure and mark lines on forms to the proper grade
- Verify trueness of structure, using plumb bob and level or transit
- Install blockouts, embedded angles, plates, bolts, and other anchors to formwork
- Understand, interpret, and troubleshoot blueprints, sketches, or building plans
- Provide a comprehensive list of forming materials and hardware required for the task at hand

Consistent dependability (must have good attendance)Reliable transportation for travel up to 75 miles to job siteLift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and up to 90 pounds of material with assistanceStamina to walk, stoop, kneel, reach, climb and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditionsExperience with Symons / steel / aluminum concrete forming systemsExperience placing and stripping forms as mentioned aboveCarry own tools (tool belt, hammer, square, level, chalk line, pry bar, etc)Control mixer trucks, pace, and correct concrete quantitiesAbility to read and interpret drawingsRequired experience
Concrete Form Carpentry : 1 yearRequired education
High school diploma (GED)Required license or certification
