Responsibilities Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in an acute hospital setting Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15 Weekend requirements include working every other Friday and Saturday Care for critically ill adult patients Epic EMR experience is preferred Provide comprehensive assessment, coordination, and delivery of nursing care for critical care patients Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and care teams Compliance with hospital standards, best practices, and applicable regulations is expected Orientation modules must be completed, typically 1-5 hours of e-learning modules recorded during orientation Return travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least one year prior to returning Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing Scrub color or dress code requirements will be clarified during orientation Holiday coverage is required as needed Requirements Active CA RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) PALS certification required within 180 days of hire TNCC required within 180 days of hire NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 90 days of hire Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU RN experience Must be eligible per 50-mile travel radius rule Only one holiday request off will be approved Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617582.
