Lead Material Support Technician (MXSG) Days

This is a CBA Contract, the employer pays service employees an hourly wage, health and welfare benefits, vacation time, and holiday pay, based on the CBA contract in place.

$ 36.32 H& $7.50 Shift : Days Number of Positions : 1

Job Summary :

The Lead Material Support Technician will oversee, and delegate contract employees assigned work. The lead is responsible for accident / incident reporting, attending required meetings, and coordinating with a site supervisor and acting as a point of contact for interfacing with government supervision / management.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must have a Secret Clearance.
• Associates degree preferred.
• 2-3 years' experience.
• FEMS, TSS, HAZCOM systems knowledge preferred
• HAZMAT training experience preferred.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good research skills.
• Strong work ethics.
• Strong computer skills.

Working Conditions

The working conditions will mostly be a well-lit, air-conditioned shop environment.

Physical Requirements

This position must be able to lift to 20 lbs. as well as have the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Physical requirements of the position may also include, but are not limited to, bending, twisting, and lifting.
