Dental Assistant - Corrections

Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant provides support to the dentist during patient care and completes the preparation of the room and dental tools / equipment. The Dental Assistant completes intake paperwork, updates patient records, sterilizes and organizes dental tools, and assists during any dental procedures.

Minimum Requirements :

• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Current License / Certificate within state of practice
• One year experience as Dental Assistant preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
