DIS is seeking a Licensed Oncologist to support the operations of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in Buffalo, NY

Essential Duties of the Inventory Specialists include :

The Contractor shall provide Board Certified / Board Eligible Oncology Physician Services on site by the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)

Travel : There will be an expectation to conduct a clinic at the Batavia VAMC and Olean CBOC in accordance with patient volume for oncology services. The frequency of clinics at these locations will be recurring, with a minimum of one day per quarter and a maximum of one day per week for each location. Batavia is 36.4 miles from the primary location in Buffalo. Olean is 75.5 miles from the primary location in Buffalo.

Qualifications – Oncology Physician

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications :

  Licensure

• Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or D.C.
• Physicians with any history of license restriction, suspension, revocation, voluntary surrender, or denial are not eligible.

  Board Certification

  Technical Proficiency

  Continuing Medical Education (CME)

  Mandatory VA Training
