Our client, a top Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group. This role is open to candidates in any firm office, with a strong preference for Atlanta, Denver, Houston, St. Louis, Kansas City, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience (IDEAL IS 3RD TO 5TH YEAR) in patent preparation and prosecution
Undergraduate or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics
Strong academic credentials and prior law firm, engineering, or industry experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Technical Experience :
Patent prosecution involving one or more of the following :
Machine learning, artificial intelligence, and neural networks
Radio frequency (RF) circuitry
Hardware and / or communications security (e.g., encryption / decryption)
Licensing Requirements :
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to practice in the jurisdiction of intended office
USPTO registration required
