Our outstanding staff of primary care physicians is supported by medical specialists and a vast array of allied health professionals. 24 / 7 Emergency and Specialized Care : Lafayette Regional's ER provides around-the-clock emergency services for all ages, staffed by experienced physicians and nurses, with a focus on kid-friendly care. The emergency room is a Level III STEMI (Heart Attack) Center and Level III Stroke Center, ensuring rapid and coordinated care for these time-sensitive conditions. It's also a Level IV Trauma Center, capable of stabilizing and transferring severe trauma cases. Lafayette Regional Health Center has received the Women's Choice Award for Emergency Care, recognizing its expertise and compassionate approach to women's emergency needs. Located in the heart of one of the Midwest’s most enduring historic communities, the hospital has weathered flood, fire and a changing rural economy for more than half a century. Job Summary :
Lafayette Regional Health Center is seeking an emergency medicine physician to join our team in Lexington, Missouri.
Qualified Candidates :
- Board certified / board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Will also consider FP / IM board-certified physicians with two (2) years of emergency medicine experience.
- 24-hour physician coverage (24-hour shifts allowed) in the emergency department.
- No APP coverage
- ACLS & PALS required, ATLS preferred
