Job Opportunity : Permanent Physician - Hematology Oncology
AnMed is seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist / Oncologist for our state-of-the-art Cancer Center in Anderson, SC. Nestled along South Carolina s National Heritage Corridor, the greater Anderson area boasts a diverse and rapidly growing community of approximately 185,000 residents, offering an ideal blend of urban amenities and small-town charm.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide hematology / oncology services in an outpatient setting with some hospital rounds.
- Maintain a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, covering a minimum of 32 patient contact hours weekly.
- Manage practice call and inpatient care for oncology patients, with no weekend obligations.
- Participate in the rebuilding phase of the practice, handling approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year.
- Collaborate with a supportive leadership team and collegial medical staff.
- Utilize Epic EMR and access to nationwide clinical trials through the UC-NCORP.
- Provide high-quality patient care in a robust oncology environment with dedicated supportive services.
Qualifications :
Must be Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Hematology / Medical Oncology; BC preferred.Completion of a fellowship in Hematology / Medical Oncology is required.Clean malpractice and license history.South Carolina medical license (or willingness to obtain).DEA and CSR / CDS must be obtained prior to start.Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates.License and Certification Requirements :
