Job Description Summary

Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning / execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will consolidate your electrical and leadership skills by doing the following responsibilities :

• Interpret customer and engineering specs to develop robust electrical designs for low to medium voltage systems.
• Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs using E-Plan and / or AutoCAD.
• Perform calculations for cable sizing, breaker selection, and component specs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure seamless production and provide technical support.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (NEC, IEC, UL) and regulatory requirements
• Conduct and participate in design reviews to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including BOMs and schematics.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to gather requirements and resolve design conflicts.
• Contribute to design process improvements and best practices.
• Prepare BOMs, ensuring a complete "for manufacture" package with schematics and layouts.
• Conduct and support design reviews throughout the product design phase.
