Schedule / Shift 12-hour night shifts with a requirement to work 2 out of the 4 holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day. Job Description The Critical Care RN will float to ICU / IMCU units as needed. This role involves caring for a wide variety of critically ill patients including those with cardiovascular issues, COPD, DKA, stroke, and sepsis. Responsibilities Provide critical care nursing to patients in ICU / IMCU settings. Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the medical staff. Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required. NIHSS certification required prior to start. CCRN certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing. Experience in large teaching facilities. Experience with post cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma-level 1, general surgery, and neurosurgery.
