Responsibilities :

• Manage the real-time operations of NRG's asset portfolio.
• Take or direct timely and appropriate real-time actions.
• Coordinate unit availability, outage schedules, unit startup and shutdown times.
• Monitor and ensure ancillary services schedules are met.
• Communicate operational and emergency conditions with Balancing Authorities.
• Monitor and analyze available market information.
• Manage dispatching and trading decisions.
• Analyze and evaluate energy transactions.
• Interact with various ISO web-based market tools.
• Effectively switch between tasks, adapt to shifting priorities.
• Implement real-time actions to ensure the stable and reliable operation of the Bulk Electric System.
• Comply with applicable NERC Reliability Standards and regional ISO rules and tariffs.
• Complete necessary NERC certification and continuing education requirements.
• Perform supervisory functions on shift.
