Executive Director of the Treatment Courts of Fremont County
Position Summary
Oversight and management of the Court Assisted Supervised Treatment (CAST), Juvenile Treatment Court (JTC), Day Reporting Center (DRC), Juvenile Justice Services Programs, and Youth Services Program. Integrate and maintain fidelity to the 10 Key Components for Adults and the 16 Key Strategies for Juveniles within all facets of program operations. Ensure that gender, age, cultural issues, and sexual preferences do not impact the client's access to services or his / her ability to succeed in the program. Develop and maintain linkages with law enforcement and Probation and Parole to enhance supervision and agency coordination. Facilitates opportunities to leverage community resources and link those to client's needs in the areas of culture, age, gender, physical health, mental health, education, vocational training, employment and housing. Builds community partnerships and enhances community knowledgebase by facilitating positive public relations appearances. Participates in the training of new or replacement CAST / JTC Executive Director. Oversee and supervise personnel under the Juvenile Service, CAST, JTC and DRC. Oversight of Juvenile Services, CAST, JTC, and DRC programs. Communicate and have management meetings with Clinical Supervisors and other managers. Oversight and development of the Budget for Juvenile Services, CAST, JTC, and DRC programs. Will be cross training in all program positions so as to substitute for and work as a staff member should the need arise due to illness, termination or other absence. Must be familiar with all cases / clients in CAST and JTC. Communicate with and performs any task requested by the Board of Commissioners that is necessary for the program's efficiency and continuation Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors and / or Master's Degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, Corrections, Business Administration, or other closely related field. Experience working with adult and juvenile offenders in the criminal justice system. Must be computer literate with the ability to operate multiple computer applications. Motivated to work with limited supervision. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience in public relations. Must have a firm understanding of chemical dependency and treatment options and be knowledgeable of ASI / ASAM criteria. Experience in successful grant writing. Must be able to supervise; delegating work and responsibilities to others. Consideration will be given to the candidate who demonstrates knowledge and understanding of various cultures. Knowledge of the Judicial Branch, Department of Health and American Society of Addiction Medicine treatment standards.
