Material Handler

Responsibilities :

• Layout, position, align, and fit components into welding fixtures as instructed.
• Follow safety practices to ensure personal and co-worker safety.
• Assign inventory locations to parts and deliver job orders according to procedures.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
• Inspect goods before routing them to departments or storage locations.
• Pick jobs and deliver parts to the appropriate departments.
• Notify relevant personnel of parts shortages, late orders, errors, or missing items.
• Complete daily paperwork and computer transactions for inventory movement.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and check them regularly.
• Perform cycle counts, troubleshoot errors, and move products along production lines.
• Manually lift and move boxes, totes, and containers up to lbs.
• Perform 5S duties and maintain standards.
• Execute inventory paperwork and transactions as needed.
• Move within departments / plant as assigned.
