Job Description

• Clinical Physician (CP) provides direct patient care in conjunction with the Rural Health Clinic (RHC) staff to patients of the RHC.
• CP will provide quality care to patients of the clinic by performing appropriate history and physicals, developing appropriate treatment plans and documenting clearly within the electronic health record.
• The CP will counsel and educate patients and family members and schedule appropriate follow up.
• The Physician will treat patients in line with standards of care.
• CP will work in collaboration with RHC Medical Director, Clinic Manager, and Advanced Practice Providers (APP).
• CP may act as a Supervising or Collaborating physician for clinic APPs.
• CP will participate in RHC staff meetings as well as KVHD medical staff activities.
