This is a tenure-track 9-month faculty position (with reduced teaching load and a research start-up package). Primary duties will include developing an independent, externally funded research program to enhance the School of Engineering’s research profile; providing high-quality instruction and mentorship to students; and serving as an active academic service role model. A reduced teaching load is available to allow new hires to establish their research program at the university and new hires are provided with start-up research funds. Moreover, course buyouts are available through internal processes tied to grant funding obtained by the faculty. Duties also include participating in program assessment; collaborating with faculty and industry partners to advance academic and research initiatives; and providing service to the School, college and university.
