Building Maintenance
Position Function : Performs variety of unskilled & semi-skilled maintenance duties. Performs general custodial maintenance of building & grounds as needed. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following :

Skill in : Building and equipment maintenance and maintenance repair (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, sheet metal, painting, plastering, refrigeration, heating) & safe use of associated hand & / or power tools & equipment. Building maintenance includes cleaning and janitorial functions, lawn and grounds maintenance.
Ability to : Apply principles to solve practical every day problems, calculate fractions, decimals, & percentages. Read and understand simple sentences with common vocabulary. Work alone or with others and demonstrate dexterity and skillful use of hands. Basic computer use and keyboarding (e.g. email, etc.)
