Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of skilled engineers focused on optimizing CNC machining processes and driving operational excellence. This role combines technical leadership with team development, ensuring best practices in machining, process improvement, and workforce training.

A key part of this position involves developing a structured operator training program, including step-by-step manuals and standardized procedures to effectively onboard and upskill production staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of up to 15 Manufacturing Engineers to deliver Right-First-Time manufacturing processes across CNC mills, lathes, wire EDM, grinders, and other precision equipment.
• Standardize best practices for CNC programming, tooling and fixture design, process documentation, and measurement system validation.
• Oversee project timelines, ensuring engineering deliverables meet performance, quality, and cost objectives.
• Assess team skill levels and implement coaching, performance development, and training plans.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive operator training program, including :
• Creating clear, step-by-step machine operation manuals
• Conducting hands-on training and evaluations
• Promoting consistent skill development across all shifts
• Foster a culture of safety, process discipline, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to enhance equipment utilization, productivity, and quality.
