Role Summary
The Director Regional Station Operations sets the long-term strategy and oversees financial performance for a team of managers and employees within an assigned region of the Horizon Air station network. This leader implements operational plans to ensure stations within their designated region meet performance objectives, compliance guidelines, and financial objectives. As a senior leader, this role champions a superior level of customer service and ensures our employees deliver a remarkable guest experience that will delight our guests at the airport while ensuring the utmost safety standards are upheld.
Key Duties
Establish strategic goals and implement operational plans to ensure stations in the region meet performance objectives and compliance guidelines.
Shape culture of the team through action, presence and reinforcement of behaviors to build and maintain a culture of safety & compliance at all levels of the Station Operations group within the region, with a strong commitment to our "Ready, Safe, Go" culture.
Develop people through effective performance management and ongoing feedback focusing on fostering strategic and systems thinking, development of talent, and mentors managers and supervisors in the region to facilitate a culture of belonging, succession planning and career progression.
Establish and ensure effective communication with frontline and field supervisory staff that builds alignment around continuous improvement and attainment of strategic goals.
Develop the annual regional budget and ensure it aligns with divisional and organizational goals and objectives; drive annual budget adherence.
Partner with and act as a liaison between all stations within the region and other appropriate stations or departments to ensure support services are provided.
Represent Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines at various community and airport meetings as needed.
Anticipate equipment, technology, and facility planning needs to ensure optimal efficiency, productivity and financial performance within the region.
Coordinate and assist with the interview and hiring process for new management positions for all stations in the region.

Salary Range
$111,700 - $173,150 / year
Total Target Compensation Range (incl. bonus & equity)
$147,010 - $226,896
Pay Details
This position has the flexibility to be based at any of the Washington stations (SEA, BLI, PAE, GEG, PUW, ALW, PSC, YKM, EAT). The salary range will vary depending on where the new hire is based.
Salary range for BLI, GEG, PUW, ALW, PSC, YKM, EAT : $101,550 - $157,400
Salary range for SEA, PAE : $111,700 - $173,150
The pay range and total target compensation package listed above is the expected pay offered for this position at the start of employment. Your pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, your relevant experience / level, experience level, and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska / Hawaiian / Horizon employees. Alaska / Hawaiian / Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate. Note : We don't typically hire at the top of the range.
