• POSITION SUMMARY :

The lead installation technician is responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of residential HVAC equipment and accessories. Oversees the work of Assistant Installation Technician to ensure work is performed correctly, communicates with customers, answers questions, resolves problems, and ensures complete customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Install heating, air conditioning, as well as accessories in accordance with manufactures specifications

Fabricate and install duct transitions, as well as duct work.

Base copper joints without leaks.

Pull vacuums on refrigerants systems and test for leaks.

Necessary wiring of low and high voltage accessories.

Perform gas work, flue piping etc...

Maintain a clean work area and safeguard client’s floors.

Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion.

Effectively communicates with customer regarding questions, concerns, and problems.

Performs start-ups on heating & cooling systems after installation.

Confirm company vehicle is in safe working order

Ensures company vehicle is properly stocked, and replenishes stock as needed.

Maintains safe working conditions.

Provide education for customer regarding operation of system.

Maintain a professional image at all times.

Must have appropriate trade tools.

Must be able to perform work from ladders, mechanical lifts, and in confined spaces.

Good work ethic and the desire to advance professionally and personally.

Ability to maintain a positive, willing, and trainable attitude.

Work flexible hours depending on project requirements.
