Role Overview

We are on the lookout for a seasoned professional to take the lead as our Director of Global Tax Operations. In this critical role, you will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for shaping the global tax compliance, reporting, and operational strategy. You will manage the tax budget and ensure that our tax accounting, controls, and compliance are robust and effective across various jurisdictions. This position will involve close collaboration with Finance, Controllership, and Legal teams, along with external advisors, to drive efficiency and accuracy in our tax operations.

This role demands extensive technical knowledge in tax accounting and reporting, exemplary leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in multinational, publicly listed settings. We're seeking a proactive leader who excels in a co-sourced model and has successfully navigated tax implications during significant acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the global tax compliance and reporting functions to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Manage the tax budget effectively, aiming for optimal spending across compliance, advisory, and operational activities.
• Oversee tax accounting processes and internal controls to align with US GAAP and SOX standards.
• Collaborate in a co-sourced tax model with external advisors for operational efficiency and enhanced outcomes.
• Implement continuous process improvements using technology, automation, and industry best practices.
• Provide leadership in tax aspects of M&A transactions and the integration of acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and manage all related documentation, reporting, and tax audits.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and Business leaders to identify and mitigate risks.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management and the Board concerning tax implications in business decisions.
