- Tier 1 : $40 / hr for 6 shifts in a 6-week schedule\n
- Tier 2 : $45 / hr for 12 shifts in a 6-week schedule\n
- Tier 3 : $50 / hr for 18 shifts in a 6-week schedule\n\nAdditionally, enjoy shift differentials for working nights and weekends!\n\nSummary : \n\nAs a competent Nurse in a similar clinical setting, you will practice autonomously, exhibiting keen awareness of complex clinical situations. You will provide both routine and advanced care, setting long-term goals for your patients. Your ability to manage the rigors of clinical nursing will continue to develop as you work collaboratively with the healthcare team.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n
- Fulfill expectations of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.\n
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with the ANA Scope and Standards, employing the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.\n
- Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social complexities of patients and their families.\n
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol and monitor for side effects and effectiveness.\n
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care delivered.\n
- Assess patient education needs and provide support to patients, families, and caregivers.\n\nRequirements : \n\nEducation & Skills : \n
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.\n\nExperience : \n
- A minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty is preferred.\n\nLicenses & Certifications : \n
- BLS certification is required.\n
- An active RN license in the state of employment or compact is needed.\n\nAdditional Position Requirements : \n
- All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.\n
- New hires will be paired with a trained staff member for preceptorship to ensure successful on-boarding and competency validation in the Emergency Department.\n
- All newly licensed RNs may enroll in a residency program or other specific orientation tailored to their needs.\n
- Completion of annual competency verification is mandatory.\n\nLicenses & Certifications Continue : \n
- ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days for experienced RNs, and within 90 days for new graduates.\n
- PALS certification is required within the same timeframes as ACLS.\n
