Job descriptionJob Summary : Key Responsibilities : Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Help clients with mobility and transportation, including walking or transferring them as needed. Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status and well-being to supervisors or family members. Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and dietary restrictions are followed. Assist clients with medication reminders and compliance as instructed. Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing the living space. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, reporting any hazards or concerns immediately. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations as well as maintaining confidentiality of client information. Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in caregiving is a plus. Previous experience in a caregiving role or in a healthcare setting is preferred. Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor with a strong desire to help others. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.) if required. Work Schedule : Flexible part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
