Route Collector

Job Summary

The role of the Route Collector is to perform collections duties at our customer locations. Applicants must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. The position requires an individual with a strong moral character and calm demeanor to operate in a fast-paced environment, performing tasks at customer establishments while maintaining constant awareness of surroundings ensuring a secure environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain strong customer service orientation.
• Secure, handle, and transport property with professionalism and precision.
• Safe transport and accounting of issued funds.

Accurate and detailed record keeping of fund transactions.

Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and communication.

Education

High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications and Experience

Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Intermediate computer skills.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works with equipment daily. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee will spend most of the time driving in various conditions and moving equipment between vehicle and worksite in both indoor and outdoor conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands or arms. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Travel

Daily travel within the region is required for this position.
