Sr. Project Manager (Mechanical or Electrical Engineer)

Job Title : Senior Project Manager - Mechanical (preferred) or Electrical Background (PE License Required)

Experience : Minimum of 10 years (Open to a minimum of 8 years if other criteria are met)

Location : Atlanta (Smyrna), Georgia

Position Overview : We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a background in mechanical (preferred) or electrical engineering, requiring a PE license. This role will focus primarily on projects within the higher education and K-12 sectors, with openness to other commercial markets.

Responsibilities : Management :

• Cultivate and expand crucial business relationships necessary for project success; engage in business development activities with existing clients.
• Collaborate with the design team to finalize man-hour budgets based on discipline work plans, defining tasks and hours required for completion.
• Liaise with clients to understand schedule expectations; propose interim milestones to ensure timely information flow, adjusting as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate and communicate project schedules to the team; monitor manpower needs and update resource projections in eResource.
• Attend meetings with owners, clients, and architects; facilitate effective communication between clients and project teams; document key issues.
