  • Position : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse\n
  • Location : Bedford, VA (Bedford Memorial Hospital ICU Unit)\n
  • Employment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment\n
  • Start Dates : Every other Monday (next available : 10 / 20 / 2025 & 11 / 3 / 2025)\n
  • Assignment Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (weekends and holidays required)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780-$1910\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience\n
  • Previous travel nursing experience in ICU and charge RN roles preferred\n
  • Active Registered Nurse license (Virginia or compact state)\n
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale preferred\n
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccination or approved declination\n
  • Ability to float to other hospital units as needed\n
  • Strong teamwork, clinical, and communication skills\n
  • No local travelers within 60 miles of Bedford, VA\n

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including students and new hires in a teaching hospital environment\n
  • Mentor and support new staff and students, fostering a positive healthcare culture\n
  • Perform charge RN duties as assigned\n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols\n
  • Float to other units based on census and hospital needs\n
  • Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required\n
