We're Hiring!

Mericle Construction, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on excavation, landscaping, and automotive equipment. This role involves hydraulic repair, welding, electrical troubleshooting, and other equipment repairs in shop and field environments.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and repair heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery, including hydraulic systems and electrical components.
  • Diagnose faults, perform scheduled maintenance, and inspect equipment for defects or wear.
  • Conduct welding, bodywork, and minor painting tasks.
  • Read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and schedule service for equipment.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in shop and field maintenance work.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting manuals, schematics, and sketches.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Driver’s license required.
