Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)Job Specialty: RadiologyJob Duration: Full-timeShift: Evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Thursday)Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per weekExperience: Minimum one year of practical experience as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalentLicense: Valid X-Ray Machine Operator's License required within 6 months post-graduation (for graduates working under a valid Student Rad Tech license)Certifications:- Current Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required within 90 days post-graduation- Registered Computer Tomography (CT) with ARRT required within 12 months of hire- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) requiredMust-Have:- Associate's Degree or equivalent, completion of a military radiology program, or completion of a hospital-based radiology program approved by ARRTJob Description:- Support imaging services department performing an average of 80,000 exams per year, including CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and digital X-Ray- Assist Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Departments with healthcare services applying x-ray energy and computer processing techniques for diagnosis or treatment- Perform computed tomography and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by a physician- Exercise professional judgment and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics- Provide appropriate patient care and recognize conditions essential for the successful completion of procedures- Participate in a weekend, holiday, and on-call rotationAdditional Information:- Signing bonus available- Loan repayment for qualifying student loans available- Comprehensive benefits program available for qualifying positions
