Staff Accountant | Culligan by Consolidated Water Group – Lombard, IL (Hybrid)
Description : The Staff Accountant will be responsible for general ledger accounting, assisting with the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and quarterly and annual audits.
Responsibilities :
- Participate in month-end close process which includes, but is not limited to :
 
Posting & documentation of journal entries on a timely basis
Ensuring completeness and accuracy of monthly account reconciliationsAssisting in supplemental reportingReconcile roralty reporting with Culligan InternationalSupporting the month end close preparing journal entriesAssisting with SG&A variance analysisInventory analysis to determine the cause of book to physical variancesEnsuring completeness and accuracy of assigned monthly account reconciliationsMaintaining existing process documents and creating new process documentsPrepare various schedules for the external financial statement auditors and coordinate and review all branch-specific sample selectionsDiligently work toward the completion of special projects, requests, and assignmentsMust abide by all company policies as contained in the company employee handbook.Complete other ad-hoc tasks as necessaryRequirements :
Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting2 – 3 years of comparable work experienceFamiliarity with US GAAPProficiency in MS Office products – intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS ExcelStrong accuracy and attention to detailManufacturing experience and inventory experience a plusAbility to adapt in fast-paced environment is a plusCompetencies :

Target Salary Range : $60,000–$70,000 per year. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
