Adjunct Faculty - Physics

Summary

To teach physics courses (lecture, supplemental instructions, laboratory sessions) and to collaborate with other faculty within and outside of the department in the development and execution of courses.

This position is In Person.

Essential Functions

• Teach physics lecture, supplemental instruction, and/or laboratory.

• Administer, proctor, and grade assignments.

• Follow the designated curriculum.

• Report grades in the Canvas Learning Management System and Student Planning.

• Comply with the laboratory safety guidelines.

• Responsible for collaborating with respective academic coordinators in the development and execution of the course as well as additional responsibilities outlined in the faculty handbook.

Qualifications/Requirements

• A Master's degree in Physics is required. A PhD is preferred.

• Prior teaching experience is preferred.
