Print Project Manager
Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The Print Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management, production, and distribution of printed materials. This role integrates process management among internal business functions and external print vendors, overseeing operations, logistics, inventory control, and compliance with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The position requires a keen focus on continuous improvement, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational strategy, ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of printed materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to print production planning / forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis. Directly manages special handling of accounts payable (A / P) checks and ensures all documentation and attachments are correct prior to vendor processing. Tracks courier deliveries for check files and maintains daily records for accountability. Monitors incoming emails and distribution lists for all print and mail requests, addressing issues promptly. Responds to ad-hoc check pull requests, confirms actions, and maintains accurate daily and monthly records. Gathers and interprets relevant data for budget planning, forecasting, and performance analytics. Creates integrated processes among internal functions such as business owners, operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside print vendors. Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization and external print vendors. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Contributes to RFP Execution, Management, and Analytics. Follows established guidelines / procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of relevant print, vendor management and / or project management experience. Solid communication and negotiation skills. Experience in developing print production project plans. Experience managing external print supplier relationships. Ability to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from multi-faceted and often ambiguous data. Strong financial and business acumen required. Proficiency in Microsoft products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to motivate project team members, stakeholders and print suppliers to meet established deadlines. Motivated initiative-taker with the ability to work with minimal oversight. Ability to be flexible and willing to learn new skill sets quickly as the need arises. Effectiveness in working collaboratively with cross-functional internal and external teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in working for a large-scale health and wellbeing organization. Experience in working with logistics partners such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS. Understanding of print, mail and logistics best practices. Excellent analytical skills : ability to research and make efficient use of resources to achieve effective business results. Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously in a timely and professional manner; ability to transfer lessons learned into new processes; flexibility in job focus. Understanding of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines.
Travel : While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humanas offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $65,000 - $88,600 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and / or individual performance.
