Overview
Position Summary : Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a fully seasoned / proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports, however may provide technical leadership on projects and direct activities of a team related to projects.
- Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software applications.
- Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.
- Work with minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned team members.
- Drive process improvements and innovation.
- Interpret business requirements into design solutions and understand design and development of project lifecycle.
- Design the conceptual and physical data model.
- Adopt best database design and coding standards, database coding, code unit testing and component integration testing.
- Create and maintain system, functional and reference documentation.
- Provide support during testing phases as required, analyze and recommend bug fixes for production incidents, and performance tuning.
- Report root cause of incidents and present ideas on how to prevent incidents from occurring in the future.
