Oracle PL / SQL Developer

Overview

Position Summary : Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a fully seasoned / proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports, however may provide technical leadership on projects and direct activities of a team related to projects.
• Collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software applications.
• Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.
• Work with minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned team members.
• Drive process improvements and innovation.
• Interpret business requirements into design solutions and understand design and development of project lifecycle.
• Design the conceptual and physical data model.
• Adopt best database design and coding standards, database coding, code unit testing and component integration testing.
• Create and maintain system, functional and reference documentation.
• Provide support during testing phases as required, analyze and recommend bug fixes for production incidents, and performance tuning.
• Report root cause of incidents and present ideas on how to prevent incidents from occurring in the future.
