\tIMPORTANT!\nMcLaren Northern has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 6 / 1 / 2024.\n\n\nLevel 2 North is a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit with a diverse patient population consisting of general and vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, trauma, and is the stroke unit for the hospital. It is a challenging fast-paced environment with great learning opportunities for both graduate and experienced nurses.\nNursing on this unit is patient-centered and focused on patient safety and delivery of quality care for positive patient outcomes. We value what each and every team member contributes toward providing excellent patient care that is evidence-based as well as holistic. Two North has an active and engaged Unit Based Council (Shared Governance) that promotes a healthy work environment of teamwork and positivity.
