This is a 1-year contract role covering maternity leave.

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform accounting closing (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
• Manage internal retro transactions - monthly US closing and reconciliation, preparation of quarterly Barbados settlement, communication, and intercompany audit requirement
• Calculate risks (interest, FX, credit, operation, etc.) and check credit rating to prepare for K-ICS FSS reports
• Response to external auditor for year-end closing
• Responsible for investment accounting and management updating and booking monthly investment transactions such as amortization and fair value measurement of debt instruments
• Manage general accounting, general ledger accounts, suspense account, reconciliation sheet by each account in a timely manner
• Communicate and manage as the FSS Central Point of Contact (CPC) channel
• Perform daily, monthly and quarterly reporting to government agency (BOK, FSS)
• Manage banking and treasury transactions and relationships
• Assist finance and accounting manager with a variety of accounting support activities
