Performance Parts Buyer

Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Buyer for the Performance Parts division. The role involves utilizing SAP / Ariba to manage sourcing and support vehicle launches, performing market tests, analyzing responses, and awarding sourcing of FPP parts. You will also support business case development for new products and ensure optimal inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform market tests, analyze responses, and award sourcing of PP parts.
• Support business case development for new products.
• Review low stock parts and issue purchase orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Follow up on past due purchase orders and track shipments.
• Review open backorders on a weekly basis and expedite parts delivery.
• Update lead times, minimum order quantities, and reorder points as needed.
• Follow all established purchasing practices and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver successful products.
• Creatively seek and bring forward opportunities for process improvements.
• Write professional communications to suppliers and coworkers.
• Present opinions and ideas in meetings with varying levels of management.
• Function proficiently in MS Office software systems, particularly Excel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00 / hr.
