Job description

The Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix is a one-of-a-kind event that showcases the incredible sport of F1 and reflects Miami’s unique position as a global curator of culture. The Fan Experience contractor will assist the Events team in managing a designated zone within the Race Campus, leading the pre-planning and execution of Fan Experience Zones, Campus Activations, and Hospitality Experiences. The Fan Experience contractor will be assigned one (1) zone within the Race Campus. This role will report to the Event Director. This individual will focus on the following responsibilities at the Formula 1 Cryto.com Miami Grand Prix 2026. Primary Zone Lead : Manage all fan experience components of your assigned zone with the following areas of focus : Furniture Layouts and Space Design Creative and Decor Plan Signage Plan and Placement Zone Budget Management Vendor Management Attend and participate in Event meetings pertaining to the Zone design and execution Collaborate with various departments to meet organizational goals pertaining to all Fan Experience / Race initiatives including Corporate Partnerships, Food and Beverage, Signage, Operations, IT, Ticketing / Sales Manage the logistics and execution of the build out / load out of the event including load in / load out schedules for fan experience vendors Oversee Race Day execution within your assigned zone pertaining to the areas listed above, working directly with all departmental zone leads and vendors to resolve incidents Ability to work on multiple tasks to ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate Job Requirements : Experience in events, sports management, project management, or a related field Demonstrated experience in large scale events Position requires a “can do / whatever it takes to get the job done” mentality and attitude Position requires flexibility and willingness to take on responsibilities outside of the items listed in this job description A passion for events; an understanding of and appreciation for the motorsports industry Exceptional work ethic and commitment Excellent communication skills with the desire to collaborate, think creatively, be innovative, and build relationships Critical thinking and problem solving skills required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Evening, weekend, and holiday work including long days (16+ hrs) for multiple days in a row as project schedule dictates Proficiency with relevant technologies. Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Sketch-Up, Smartsheets, etc. Candidates must reside in, or be willing to relocate to the Miami / South Florida area Position start date : 01 / 05 / 26 Ability to lift at least 45 pounds and willingness to participate in event related manual labor Ability to operate heavy equipment, e.g. forklifts is not required but a bonus Employment Type : Contract Years Experience : 3 - 5 years Salary : $20,000 - $30,000 Annual Bonus / Commission : No
