Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to join our Emergency Department team. This role will be full time day shift; Monday Friday rotating weekends 6.45AM 7.15PM.

The Emergency Medical Technician places patients on continuous cardiac monitoring while collecting documenting and reporting patient vital signs data. Registers patients accurately efficiently and professionally to ensure database integrity and facilitate claims processing. Requests prior electrocardiograms for Medical Director review as appropriate and follows medical standard operating procedures for patient intervention. Provides concise documentation of all procedures and therapies in patients medical records is expected and performs surgical preparation of wounds according to protocol.

Emergency Medical Technician Job Responsibilities :

Shift : Day Shift (6.45Am 7.15PM)

Schedule : Full Time Three 12 hour shifts

Training : Ideal candidate must be able to attend a 6 week training
