Location : Greenville, MI Department : Casting

Reports to : Production Team Leader Date : June 2025

Summary

Responsible for operating machines and equipment within the Casting department. Casting operators may perform several different functions within the Casting department in order to meet production needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows safety rules 100% of the time.
• Contributes to a safe work environment by following housekeeping guidelines.
• Maintains good attendance.
• Follows instructions and works to meet daily job assignments and KPI’s.
• Rotates within work area when directed.
• Monitors equipment condition and production quality and ensures all products (whether conforming or non-conforming) is processed in accordance with quality guidelines, customer requirements and the company’s control plan.
• Openly communicates with team leader and / or quality regarding concerns.
• Completes product tracking logs for various types of products.
• Performs other Relevant work as assigned.
• Complete required paperwork neatly and in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned or designated.
• Casting Operators perform at least one, but often several, of the below functions :

Ancillary / 1st Piece Inspection
