Firestopping Inspector, Experienced

Braun Intertec is seeking a Firestopping Inspector, Experienced to join our White Bear Lake, MN location. The person will also be assisting in the quality control of the processes for inspection and will need to help in the performance of the inspections in new construction.

Responsibilities

• Implement internal firestop policies / procedures and technical processes, including the review of Life Safety Drawings, specifications, firestopping submittals, UL systems, and special inspection reports.
• Maintain relationship and background knowledge of the current code and firestopping requirements with building officials, state officials, accreditation and auditing agencies and apply it to the business plan for this service area.
• Manage client and vendor relationships
• Prepares reports and other work related documents in a timely and accurate manner
• Understands and utilizes safe work practices

Required Education / Experience
