Vice President Of Content And Thought Leadership
Our client is seeking a Vice President of Content and Thought Leadership to join their Marketing and Communications team. This role is onsite in Chicago 5x per week. The role involves regular collaboration across teams and with senior leadership. Responsibilities include :
- Responsible for brainstorming, writing, and producing thought leadership content across all public securities strategies.
- Manage the content calendar and strategic marketing campaigns in close coordination with product managers, marketing, and institutional sales teams.
- Develop and manage thought leadership content, including white papers, articles, market commentaries, videos, podcasts, email campaigns, and website copy.
- Lead the editorial process to ensure content aligns with firm goals and supports sales priorities.
- Research and recommend new technologies to enhance the marketing toolkit.
- Serve as project coordinator and editor for large-scale content initiatives such as the annual Stewardship Report, quarterly newsletter, and other firm-wide communications.
- Collaborate across marketing, investor relations, institutional sales, and investment teams to promote content and elevate brand awareness.
- Execute marketing campaigns using digital platforms such as Pardot, Hootsuite, Salesforce, Monday.com, and Seismic.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with compliance to ensure content accuracy and alignment.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder feedback.
- Generate content ideas and conduct industry-related research.
- Repurpose materials for various institutional audience segments.
- Support additional marketing and communications projects as needed.
Qualifications include :
7+ years of relevant experience, ideally in financial services marketing; asset management and institutional channel experience preferred.Strong understanding of public securities, particularly in real estate, infrastructure, renewables, and fixed income.Exceptional writing, editing, formatting, and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail; a portfolio of published work is required.Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.Strategic thinker with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, compelling insights.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.Collaborative team player with a proactive, positive attitude.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
